No. I started late in life, and then got into the hoarding mentality during COVID and I hate indoor ranges and it's too far to regularly go to outdoor ones.
To make a long, self pitying rant short, in stuck in a catch 22. I want to sell my house and move to the sticks but I'd need a job out there but I have to find work out here, yada yada. I see these fags on YouTube just go out to their backyard and do whatever the fuck they want. I want that but I got too much other shit to deal with to make that happen.
It's not just the gas and the fees. I hate being rushed at the range. And I hate there being other people around.
I tried oil painting for a bit. It's expensive, but actually cheaper. Pic related. (I suck.)

I never said you shouldn't, only that you don't need a rational reason to buy a 10mm hi point, or a brace of Berettas.
I am saying that most of this is irrational and we'd be fine (for practical purposes) with shit that was available 100 years ago.
I'm not saying we shouldn't autistically hoard and overanalyze. That's half the fun.
