If you're aiming in partial darkness, you should have a visible target, whether with WML or ambient light, to line your sights against. A fiber optic sight catches light and has better visibility than any tritium I've ever seen.

Here's my 7 yard group with it at a rental range next to groups with my pdp and a rental steel frame CZ 75. Gun placement correlates to group. It's snappy and flippy because it's small but less snappy than a 43x and people still like those, however I still wouldn't reccomend it for a first pistol if that's your use case.

Some folks have had issues and I'll post those next mostly because I cant remember what they were, but my ex had one and she liked hers although probably only had 300ish rounds through it total.

For what it's worth the rental CSX I shot I really disliked and despite it being quite a big larger it shot a worse group at 7 yards. The CSX had very tight stiff controls that were very difficult to use, the grip needed a lot more texture, which is very important for small guns since they have less hand real estate you have to maximize the effectiveness of what little you have. I shot it maybe a year after the 938 though so I can't remember if it was flippier/snappier or not.

Get a quality kydex holster with a wing attachment, it will help pull the grip to your body. Some clothing, like button downs, naturally flare out around the waist further reducing print. A very garish print draws the eye even further away from any print you do have. Here is me carring my 509c 4oclock strong side.

Oh, and get a quality carry belt which wont sag, it helps keep the gun tight to your body but also make it way more comfortable to carry especially when sitting down. I like my Hanks gunner belt seen in this pic

The more layers of clothing you add the easier it is to carry without worrying about printing for beginners, but also the harder it is to draw without snagging. Remember to practice your draws with the clothing you actually wear, which means if you got a new coat this fall/winter do some draw drills with it on, you might be surprised, and nobody likes surprises when you're already in the most stressful moment of your life should you need to draw your carry in a defense shooting.

I promise I've shot more guns than you, and I can tell by the way you talk. I've shot 10mm and 44 magnum handguns, 45 LC out of a derringer, 50 cal, 8mm mauser and even 8mm lebel out of a berthier calvary carbine which let me tell you sucked worse than the 50 cal out of a competently built rifle not made by the french.

This post isn't for you, I don't get the feeling you're capable of accepting new information that runs counter to whatever you already believe. It's for the anons who come here and don't have much expirence with micro 9s and are looking to make a purchasing decision.

The CSX has no grip texture around the areas your support hand goes, or even around the front of the grip. It just has that tinnnnny pocket around the back strap. Good micro 9s (not the 43x or CSX) have aggressive texture in as many places as the engineer can put it, since the stack and a half design is inherently flippy and snappy due to it's thin size and light weight. You can see here on this hellcat pro that there is stippling around the entire grip including the front strap and top of the grip. The shield plus is a much better micro 9 and has a far better texture, and is what I would reccomend to anyone here who is looking to buy a micro 9.

Obviously both this and the Kimber micro 9 have a shoddy track record, but my 938 hasn't had problems (relatively low round count). It's a little uncomfortable to shoot but with a clipdraw it's absolutely invisible in shorts for me (maybe not basketball shorts). It fills it's purpose of being an actually pocketable 9mm, if you get a good one. A little hogue rubber sleeve would probably make it comfortable

I really, really REALLY shot the Sig 365 380 well. The sig 380 luxe just came out a couple months ago and is getting a lot of praise from guntubers, but I have never seen one in the wild. Be aware, the standard sig finish will be worse than the BG 2.0 finish, the luxe finish should be better. I shot the sig 380 side by side with a glock 42 and LCP max and MUCH prefered the sig over those two, and my groups reflected it. Ignore the 5.7mm holes, this was my last target so I was having to reuse it.

I love my BG 2.0, and for such a small gun I feel like I group pretty good with it, but it definitely had a break in period with light strikes made worse by using 24cpr AAC 380 ammo that light strikes every mag at least by itself. S&B 380 ammo has been flawless in it. I pocket carry it in a QVO holster which has this neat claw feature that snags on your pocket to get the pistol clear of the holster. With the DCC monoblock it also doesn't print "gun" even in elastic skinny jeans pockets. I get that, I do, but guns are a very long lasting purchase. Wrong. My carry ammo (HST +P) isn't boomerload junk will penetrate and expand reliably out of my 3" EDC. I wouldn't have purchased it otherwise. Well the ballistics ain’t shit brother, sure it’s probably better than .380 but at that size, a really smooth shooting hole poker is ideal. Just getting proper penetration is all you should be aiming for.
If I want to get into handgun ballistics discussion, it pretty much must start with larger handguns in duty calibers and even then a large sum of people think the terminal performance difference is negligible (I disagree with them).
So in short, there’s nothing wrong with thinking .380 may offer stronger trade-offs in a little micro.

It’s a EGW or other cone comp which requires a threaded bull barrel where the threads are recessed into the slide

Bar sto, Jarvis, and others make these speciality barrels. I think Barsto and Jarvis will install it if you opt for gunsmith fit

Even as a moderate handlet, I found that the slightly fatter grip on my P365XL makes it substantially easier to control, and it also doesn’t make the gun any thicker in the holster. If you find the 9mm P365 too hot to handle, IMO you should consider getting the WC grip before getting an entirely new gun in .380.

Been carrying the same 1911 in one of these for ~15 years, recently got a shiny new 1911 and just broke it in and the range and loved it, thinking of getting a new holster, also my mates have been making fun of my holster forever for being ugly and cheap, but on the other hand, this is an insanely comfortable IWB for kidney carry.

Anyone know any equivalent or superior 1911 iwb kidney carry holsters? These things are just so incredibly low profile and soft, sure I've seen and heard about other holsters, and like say; Galco, I hear good things, they look cool, but common sense dictates from merely looking at the thing that it's bulkier and harder than these cheap little things.

Are these cheap ultra low profile things as good as it gets for comfort? I'm sure the other things have better retention or whatever, but I'm not doing cartwheels or "sick flips" on a skateboard on a regular basis, and these have been good for my usual stand up, sit down, get in car, walk around etc... motions.

In the other carry gun thread the 1911 guy uses a Wright Leather Works. Another anon in hg is using a southern trapper holster, it seems we’re all using holsters that are like 5x the price of yours.

It seems for bulkiness, Leather > Kydex, I don’t know where nylon sits.

Honestly, if it worked for you for 15 years then just buy several back ups of that holster. Getting ride height where you want it is hard, the wright leather works makes a clip holster similar to what you have but leather. The tx22 is a fantastic 22 pistol with the best reliability I've seen in a 22lr and the best capacity as well. The capacity argument isn't as big of a deal if your country limits that, so something like a ruger MK IV may be better suited to your needs. For 22lr, Ruger MK4, Taurus TX22, Keltec P17, and Smith and Wesson M&P22 work. No idea what the availability in your area is like, but these are good options.

For 38 Special, pretty much any Smith and Wesson (If there is a used market there, an old Model 10 S&W would be ideal.) or Ruger revolver (Any of the Ruger revolvers work, but if you can find a Speed, security, or service six, those are great guns. If you need something still in production, GP100 is good) would work. Taurus makes a pretty decent revolvers too. I think the Taurus equivalent to a K frame is the Model 82.

Can you carry in Paraguay or are these just going to be range toys? Ruger is better than Taurus as far as revolvers go, but Taurus makes a great semi auto pistol, especially the TX22. Ruger MK4 is gonna be more accurate, but you only get 10 rounds in a mag. If you can and plan on carrying, get a Ruger SP101 in 357 mag. If it will be range use only, get a 22lr pistol either the TX22 or the Ruger MK4 and don't bother with 38s.

Seriously though, you don't really need "AI" to run a weed farm. You just need to tune the humidity and PH levels, as well as adjusting the light levels. While these can be simplified to intervals, I don't think it rises to the level of true "machine learning". I mean, it could in theory, but it isn't exactly necessary. Sig's 226 and it's derivatives like the 228 ect are great, and the 365 line is good to go BUT has the worst finish at it's price point compared to it's $600 peers. That finish problem is important because most folks like 365s as their summer carry gun which means you will be sweating all over it. Keep some of lubeanons gold guard on it and you'll be fine tho, and it's not the worst finish in firearms, just the worst finish for $600 firearms.
