>I’m seriously considering going from engineering into law enforcement
Nows definitely the time, PA state troopers make about 200k a year, and ICE/DHS is on a huge hiring spree. You can then parlay those ICE/DHS jobs into a different government job. That being said I think you're on the right path with the masters, I always have heard getting your masters can give you more options if you are considering a career or position change, but I only have a bachelors myself. Been considering going back to law school but the travel CT pay has been so good it feels silly to leave a job where I get to travel the world all the time and make bank. Golden handcuffs I guess.

Hg definitely lost a lot of the vibe it had a couple years ago, but I'm hoping we can bring it back. What's the deal with building a 2011? Is it like an AK where you need expirence and tools or an AR where you can just slap everything together? I have always wondered if a quality built could be done for under 1k now that tisas and other budget manufacturers are starting to make their own 2011s. What's your current build looking like?

The tx22 is a fantastic 22 pistol with the best reliability I've seen in a 22lr and the best capacity as well. The capacity argument isn't as big of a deal if your country limits that, so something like a ruger MK IV may be better suited to your needs. The umarex stuff bums me out man, I wish Walther and FN and HK and these other manufacturers would actually care enough to make their own 22lr guns.
