Csx is metal frame and SAO which some folks prefer. The mags were also easier to load than shield plus mags. That's about where the pros end as far as I'm concerned.

The shield plus handles recoil better and I honestly believe has a better trigger as strange as that may sound given it's a striker. The csx was snappier despite the metal frame, but that may just have had to do with how little texture there is on the frame. Microcompacts are always going to jump more in your hands because there is just less gun to distribute the recoil. The shield plus has some pretty aggressive texture in the front and back of the grip to help you handle that. The CSX only has a tiny bit of it just at the very back. The CSX's slide release and mag release are both much stiffer and harder to actuate than the shield plus which matters more if you're planning on shooting it with older relatives or girlfriends.

For what it's worth the rental CSX I shot I really disliked and despite it being quite a big larger it shot a worse group at 7 yards. The CSX had very tight stiff controls that were very difficult to use, the grip needed a lot more texture, which is very important for small guns since they have less hand real estate you have to maximize the effectiveness of what little you have. I shot it maybe a year after the 938 though so I can't remember if it was flippier/snappier or not.

People fed the trolls too much and now they think they're important and found a community. Many such cases. They'd go away if folks just stopped interacting witch them and posted handguns. Sad!

I hate the CSX, but am excited to try the CSXe, mostly because it sounds like "sexy" when you say it out loud.
