the final redpill for me was that a person is a sum of several sub-personalities, each which has its own motivation and goals and sometimes those personalities have adverserial goals which results in internal conflicts like wanting two opposite things at the same time
There are archetypes of those sub personalities like: the king, the jester, the engineer/autistic problemsolver, the warrior, the intelectual, the artist, the degenerate, etc.
Jung presented a concept of a shadow - a part of personality you cast aside for whatever reason, maybe societal pressure or some other rationalization
You can feed yours high rationalizing intelectualist that casts aside outdated instincts of evolutionary past,
but that which you cast aside will always be there, and according to Jung, and me speaking from experience, you wont be whole if you ignore that side
