This period (2010 to now) will go down in history as an utter dark age for fiction.

Why did Millennials turn out to be such fucking shit tier writers? What influenced this? Why is everything always this lame half hearted subversion or "deconstruction", why is it always these lame quips? Why always shoving wink nudge to current thing political issue, why can't anything be serious and straight and instead always has to be some comedy quip, it's honestly astonishing how bad Millennials are at writing for film/tv.
