we don't have universal healthcare because large corporations don't want it, since it would cut into their profits. a lot of other groups don't want it too, since it would add more government regulations to their practice. universal healthcare was proposed during the new deal by congress before being shut down by the AMA. as far as walkable cities, america is a younger nation and the infrastructure was built around cars. we've had a federal highway system since at least the 1920s. as cars became cheaper during the interwar period and especially after ww2, many americans began to associate cars with personal freedom. so yes, you are schizoposting, but please keep at it. you're funny to me.
