It didn’t glitch when kbserving Ishmael herself but did when talking about what happened previously. Perhaps Ishmael herself is an observable point where the timeline gets close enough, and anything prior is too far from our current norm.
Kind of the opposite of N.Corp Faust. There is enough brainwashing in N.Corp to conveniently turn Faust into a second Kromer, her background being constant but the present Faust being completely different. The “foundation” is closer, so the view is more solid.
