Ex gf who confessed her love to me many times is having a mental breakdown. She has had them before and always asked me to be there for her in the past.

She tells me that if I contact her again she'll call the cops on me.
At this point I cannot contact her anymore. She has always been a little crazy, that's why I broke up with her, which she resents me for. But I was afraid she was gonna self harm. I've heard too many horror stories of people not reaching out to people in times like this and it ending like that.
I just find it really strange she cut off her female best friends that she cherished. I wanted to save her.

My advice to all of you is this, be selfish. Selfish with your time. Selfish with your energy. Selfish with your money. Reciprocate to others only when they have done for the same for you. Everything else is weakness of mind, and the false belief that you need other people and their approval.
