I joined maybe a few months ago, so i'm behind on the SU lore, but i've really really liked his mlp series so far, and in my opinion it's getting better. Some people are nostalgic for the older episodes, but you can clearly tell that as a creator he's doing what he wants with it, which is Yaoi anime. If you look at it with that perspective then he's continuously headed in the right direction.
