The latest episode is a perfect example of what I was thinking of in terms of all those things I listed. Shit like the Panty & Stocking vs Polyester & Polyurethane faceoff with their forcefields clashing, getting bigger & bigger and squishing Chuck & Brief as the two sides' expressions get more & more intense. The whole idea of demons & angels teaming up against zoomer nepobaby angels who tout themselves as being the new hotness while being stiflingly traditionalist & by-the-book. The insanely well executed action that's both funny cartoony slapstick and stylishly cool.
