I think it's dumb that the CDs are releasing their wives. The wives can tell the revos about Mary Geoise.

I think it's stupid to release a Revolutionary Army commander who may have gathered a lot of information about Mary Geoise into her captivity, especially if her husband is a Holy Knight.
