There's the bait at the end of Taurus cup saying that you are better than thousands of people, but I've tried to work this out.
>Round 1
You need to be better than 2 people. Simple as.
>Round 2
You need to be better than 2 people who were both better than 2 people. So in total, if you win round 2, you are better than 3+3+2=8 people.
>Round 3
You are already better than 8 people and you need to be better than two people like yourself: 8+9+9=26.
So if there was tie breakers and people only get one shot, that math would be correct, and you'd be the best player out of 26. I guess to some extent they cancel each other out. At any rate the number is by orders of magnitude smaller than the number reported at the end. Sorry, but you are not a top 0.1% player.
