Kyle said he tried everything to stop the martians from messing with him but AFAIK he never tried to rebuke them in the name of the Jesus Christ. At least his manifesto never mentioned it. Only that they met him in Pastor Tim's church and wanted him to join which may have turned him off spiritually. But I wonder if things would have gone different if he was a believer and forwent organized religion altogether. If I was going to write him I would ask.
