How long until /v/ is allowed to like this game? Maybe a couple years?

So let me get this straight:
Hinako was taking red capsules forged from the flower that the cult in the old games used to communicate with the Gods. This medicine also makes you hallucinate and go insane.
So the communication with Fox Mask in the spirit world was real, that was her communication with the Gods, but her visions of the town covered in fog were a hallucination manifested from her fears of what's going to happen when her father sells her.
Do I have that right? Interesting that if so there's no real "Silent Hill" like other world since the area that would most resemble it never actually existed.

Help me out in understanding the "literal" story of Silent Hill F. This is what I think happened:
Hinako's Dad got into unmanageable debt and decided that selling his daughters was the best way to deal with it. Hinako confided in Shu about this, and he gave her some medicine made from flowers that came from Silent Hill. Hinako got seriously addicted to them and her friends felt she was a traitor who was abandoning them. The dream worlds she experienced during this spiral make up the gameplay. On her "wedding day" she snapped and went on a murderous rampage.
