Yes, I suppose it would have been better had I made the mitts look with a generic underwear pattern to make it obvious, and I did lacked effects to highlight the thread.

In this older comic I think I got it better because I used more panels to show the change.

Sorta sorta. Alvin bribes Theodore to do his chore and uses a doll to make it look like he was doing it. 3rd panel you got it right. It was meant to deceive Dave by making him think “Alvin” was dragging the trash as he was told to.

As for the silhouette, I wanted to make it something a tiny bit dark with how Dave could think a trash man just tossed helpless-Alvin into the truck.
