What's up with that horrible input delay though? At first I thought it it was a DLSS/vsync problem but it's there on minimal graphics and resolution in native. There's some good stuff in there in the end but that performance is inexcusable. My 4080 has to work full power to run it at 1440p native and even then I got slight drops when activating thermal. It's a real detriment to the game. I still enjoyed it because it's MGS3 but there are plenty of things that piss me off.
Also they completely fumbled the ladder scene which is a crime against humanity.

Why didn't anyone try and copy the TPP formula?
>Build your army
>Build your base
>Unlock more possibilities and support from motherbase as you progress
>Fight online simulated battles to climb a ladder
>Intrude on enemy bases
>Free roam a battlefield with side hustles
>Operating missions
>Smooth as fuck controls
>Fun as fuck gadgets which can be used in several ways
>Buddy system
>Actual AI with different combat states
>Vehicles / weaponry on demand
>Near endless replayability due to so many possible ways of approaching scenarios and strats, both lethal and non-lethal
10 years and nothing even comes remotely close. Not trying to make this out as a perfect game and you definitely gotta throw some mods against it for it to really shine and get rid off the "has to run on a ps3" limitations but fuck, there's just nothing like it out there.

>"b-but it's ugly"
>"b-but tranq and fulton"
>"b-but muh revenge"
>"b-but unfinished"
Suck a dick. You missed the point in both gameplay and story. Chapter 2 is horribly paced, sending you back to MB every other mission which really fucks up a lot but it's themes are brilliant.

This. All this screeching and yet his games are still discussed in current year. Nobody cares if you got filtered. I enjoyed and still enjoy literally all his games. They are by no means perfect games but they are endlessly intriguing.

Except the EU is already gearing up for that possibility. And we all know the US will enrol back into NATO after Drumph. The guardian god emperor of pedo protection is going to fuck right wing US for years to come by the time his term is over.
