I ended up hating this because the contrails were really obnoxiously bright and you still had to use their awful UI to place markers on a map. I like actual maps that are required for navigating, but game maps are over-depended on despite being useless and making the world feel smaller than it needs to. I think the wind should have been a swipe up to lead you to the nearest primary quest and a swipe down to lead you to the nearest secondary quest and there would be no map, codex, gear menu, any of that bullshit.

The animals that alert you to things were also dumb. The only one that actually fit was the smoke on the horizon letting you know where the camps were.
