I dunno how much I trust the notion that Jap players will just switch games.
Yeah, there's a ton of card games, but not a single one is like Yugioh.
The rest all share similarities, Yugioh does not. We are wholly unique. I know that I sure as fuck couldn't just pack up and switch to another card game because they're nothing alike to Yugioh.
That being said I can't tell you why they have it so much better. Maybe they are just less greedy kikes. As weebo as this may sound, everything in Japan is just of a higher quality. They have solid work ethic and take pride in their labour and they price things appropriately rather than trying to rinse their people.
As idealistic as that sounds it seems more accurate to me than them holding their execs hostage at the threat of leaving if they don't treat them fairly because moving from Yugioh to another card game is like loving football and then moving on to rugby, they're completely different.
