Running Dragonmaids in Dracotail literally makes it worse than a pure deck, doesn't it?

Went 5-0 at locals last night with this deck. It's an engine pile and very similar decks were good previously on Master Duel. It's more coherent than it might look. You have 15 FS starters and a lot of very good two-card combos. Beryl by itself leads to Caesar + Roar w/Driver + Paradise, which I've found a very hard board for Yummy to play through. Spheres is also still a very strong card and a good payoff for starting with Lubellion + Beryl if you go that path. I generally prioritize opening FS above anything else.
I enjoy the more control, grindcore playstyle the deck allows. I think it's decent into Yummy and Mitsu, and while I'm not thrilled to play against K9, Drillbeam for turn 0 Izuna is strong. Dracotail I haven't gotten a ton of games against, but I have to think their established boards are really hard to play into but you can probably set up a board they'd have challenge getting through as well.

I'm still in awe about just how little D/D/D did. I even said it wouldn't do anything so this shouldn't come as a surprise to me but it did just get 2... pretty substantial support waves back-to-back, it has a cohesive streamlined gameplan now which ends on a very powerful board. It should in theory be more resilient to the lower powered handtraps. Can even play through Nibiru.
I guess Mulcharmy cringe and weak going second capabilities really is enough to be a death sentence to decks in this day and age.

>The randomized matchups will be announced in the thread each Monday and the matchups can agree on the time and date of the duel during that week

Master Piss had a few broken decks like Metalfoes/Zoo/TD so it sets a fairly high bar honestly.

Illusions creating this situation in which they're supposedly defined by their battle gimmick and therefor forced to carry a bunch of clutter in their card text, but at the same time not really because we already have plenty Illusions that don't carry the gimmick, makes me so stupidly upset.

No one ever talks about the Psychic gimmick based on supertypes, like how the Kashtiras all search one card type and the monsters and Wave 1 S/Ts all punish activations of their respective card types, or how the Mekk Knight continuous S/Ts all punish a specific card type, or the Psy-Frames all negating a specific card type, or the Time Thief Xyzs gaining effects based on the card types they detach, or the Virtual Worlds weird ass target then foolish effects based on card types, or the Myutant Level 8s all triggering off a different card type, being untargetable by another card type, then retrieving the third card type when destroyed and the little guys summoning based off what card type was banished

Feels pretty good but:
1) 16 handtraps are definitely on the lower side but the deck is engine heavy. Maybe going up to 42 with TTT in main deck might not be bad
2) Sometimes I kinda wish to have the other evlennotes trap in deck (especially when the patron search any elvennotes card)
3) I'm not sure if I want chaos angel in extra deck. Feels really useless

Contextual Information: Sinful Spoils are super power magical artifact things that take different forms. Diabellstar has two in her base form.
There's this cool forest where all the cool witches hung out and one day the evil demon Azamina came and planted a forbidden fruit which the little girls found and gave to Diabell who ate it which caused the forest to corrupt. The only survivors were Astellar and Elzette but Elzette got captured and corrupted by the Azamina anyways. Astellar takes on her teachers name and starts farming for Sinful Spoils so she can get revenge on the Azamina.
Elzette is corrupted and shit and ends up fighting some random witch. She kills her but as a result of the battle she manages to break free from Azamina control. She takes other witch's sinful spoil and does the same shit as Astellar and takes on her teachers name to become Diabellze and take her revenge.
Diabellstar meanwhile goes and finds the location of the ORIGINAL Sinful Spoil and beats up a bunch of trees to get it which gives her poplar.
Goblins show up to try and capture Diabellstar for reward money but they get btfo'd. Also Big Gabonga has a sinful spill for some reason.
After Diabellstar finishing punching goblins, Diabellze shows up and using her sinful spoil puts Diabellstar to sleep and steals poplar. This is because she cares for her and doesn't want her to get hurt, or something.
Diabellze fights some Azaminas for awhile before getting btfo'd and Queen Azamina starts an apocalypse.
Diabellstar wakes up in jail and kills like three Azamina. The Goblin Bikers give her a ride to help Diabellze.
Diabellstar and Diabellze team up to fight Queen Azamina but it's not enough. Poplar channels the lingering wish of Diabell to turn Star into a scalie (twice) and Bellze into a striper to finally defeat Queen Azamina.

A stupid gimmick I always think about is a monster that blocks off an entire mechanic.
You put it in the opponents zone but it's still your monster and your opponent can't touch it at all and can't summon monsters from hand, you put it in your opponents spell/trap zone and they can't activate spells/traps. Even more annoyingly you put it on top of your opponents deck and they can't search/special summon from deck and lastly you put it on the extra deck and they can't special summon from the extra.

Yeah but this is a really sweet 1 card combo for Agents for how flexible it is. After you do the Ostinato stuff, you have Master Flare (Protected by Georgius), a Majesty Hyperion in GY, and any Earth Search in hand, including D!Venus. You can combo off that base stupidly well, and have tons of backup. If Master Flare gets stopped through your protection, you can immediately pivot into a fully enabled Chaos Angel. It's more than just a few generic opening, it opens up the entire deck on a level even stronger than Halq.

This deck plays all the same agents as before, and uses Agents throughout the entire combo (Normal Earth, Uses Neptune, Summons Balls for materials, etc etc).
