She knew Yuko for all of two minutes and doesn't even know she's dead.
Asa has gotten her shots in on Yoru and that Devil has already greatly changed from how she was in the beginning of their relationship.

"Oh no Yoru stole a kiss from homeless man"
Maybe these are not the most important things in the universe when there's a goddamn apocalypse going on out there and when Yoru grants Asa the power to actually combat it.

That was supposed to be a callback to Asa's own words earlier from P2 (both characters often tend to remind each other of their own words), not the flashback with the caretaker.
The only so-called parallel there is that both scenes use Fujimoto's standard cinematic paneling.
