Marketing in general is just kinda ass these days. The only way anyone knows about the game is if you've already got a Switch 1/2 and you browse the shop regularly.
For me though, I don't have much hope of it being that good, mainly due to the fact that the franchise is all about these hand-crafted, just-linear-enough maps that look like they're from a gen or two in the future, only for half of MP4's advertising to show off the open desert map that looks generic as hell and Samus riding Viola like having a mount in a game is some new special thing.

>use what's effectively an RSS feed to check on random news sometimes
>half the "actual" journalism is just straight-up SEO spam selling me something that's literally just an Aliexpress product being resold on Amazon for 20% more (after sale) and the whole "report" is effectively just an ad, despite being from a "real" news source like CNN or whatever
>some of the "news" is no-joke just them reporting on some guy's Youtube video, reporting on how he feels about a game coming out or some comment he made about some coffee maker
>lots of "sources familiar with Nintendo say Donkey Kong: Bananza is so good it made several men in the dev team cry with happiness" types of reports where they're presenting rumor as fact and the page is full of sponsored links because the whole thing is made up and they're just advertising the game
>or they do that thing where they present a rumor about something that might be in the game (like PLZA having a second city or a full underground map) as though it could happen, solely to trick players into buying it now hoping it happens
>the only halfway decent marketing these days is giving streamers free keys for your game so they play it and shitloads of people buy it solely because "BootyBlastin95 played it", even though most will drop it or never play it
