I gave up fighting games the first time I ever played a match online. It was Street Fighter II Turbo on XBLA. Played a match with some guy and couldn't hit him once. Read his bio afterwards and it was pretty him saying how he was one greatest Street Fighter players ever or some bullshit. I thought, fuck this.. I may have beaten all my friends and siblings at these games growing up, but that doesn't matter anymore. The world was changing. It didn't need washed up fightin' game players like me anymore.

I moved on and never looked back.
