/biz/bros who truly made it (no longer wage, don't stress about finances at all), how did you know when you really had enough? I know I don't yet but honestly at this point I act as if I had nothing saved. I have about $1.3M (sole provider for family of 4 though so I probably need $3M+ to be comfy) but every single financial decision even down to spending like $60 on a dinner out brings me pain and I feel like I can't really afford it.

I am concerned even if I hit like $2.5-3M I'm still going to be too scared to just live off the yield.

At what point did you start to really feel like "ok, I am free, I can quit now"? How willI I know?

And do you actually get to enjoy the money or unless you have like $10M+ do you always feel like you have to watch your expenses to a degree?
