yeah it's all starting to make sense. This is kind of a tough spot to be in. Having an unconventional personality in a smaller city will definitely make meeting people harder. The only thing you can do is put more effort into looking for people. Like just check the UK thread on /soc/ every day, or maybe even post in it frequently (again, be careful). It might take a while, but eventually you'll meet someone cool
