I have noticed this as well, even on this website frogs used to be held in somewhat high regard and even gained some kind of mythological spiritual power with the Kek stuff for a short time in 2016.
The idea of a universe being created by a Divine Croak so to speak is fascinating, a quick search on wikipedia says that ancient greeks and romans as well as egyptians associated frogs with fertility and life which is very on par for Homestuck
