what's particularly frustrating about it is the supposed learning curve. how the fuck am i supposed to understand anything about the game when everything is so goddamn coinflippy?

i don't fucking get it. was it luck? or was my horse actually outclassed that time?
and most advice is given by people who are just as lost but either don't get it or are malicious i can't tell at this point
