As Ukr keeps hitting substations in russia along refinerys, question arises - is this strategy actually viable?
In a war is it even worth it throwing drones, cruise missiles and sabotages against power grid? Or is it all just easily repairable and/or power just reroutable and besides a shortterm tactical effect(supply issues when using electric trains for example) there is no real strategic damage. This is assuming that no-one is targeting nuclear powerplants.
Can you actually damage a medium sized country-s power grid to a point of practical collapse with reasonable amount of firepower?
