Yes and no.

I don't particularly regret the loss of economic opportunity, as the suffering of work far outweighs the pleasure of luxury consumption. True wealth such as house ownership (as opposed to mortgage slavery) was never quite in my grasp to begin with.
However, I do somewhat bemoan the social opportunities that may have emerged as the result of a career, particularly a romantic relationship. Although, lots of my fellow poors, especially drug addicts and the mentally retarded, seem to have no problem in that area, so I suspect I would have ended up alone either way.
