Yeah. It'll help smooth things out by making the whole piece one consistent finish. Also you may have more luck drybrushing skin by not starting with black, but a dark green, and then slowly working up to your brightest highlight. The more half mixes you do between using your full strength colours, the smoother the transition will be. All the skin on the squigs is drybushed over a pink>white/black>blue spraypaint gradient. Instead of going
