So it's a total replacement of Luna as a character, just as I said? That's fine, good, even great. She's transformed into "the blue background pony that's also Celestia's sister" into "Princess Luna," Princess of the Night and somepony who is interesting on her own. You're still acting like it's somehow a bad thing for the show to rectify such a serious mistake by taking drastic action. It's just not.

The Elizabethan speech is a great idea, and if later episodes don't use it, that only makes those episodes worse, not Luna Eclipsed. Fortunately, fanfics can rescue it, and I still love what I Watch the Moon does with it. Obviously, the same applies to baps.
