Chrom's best support is with FRobin, it's not an emotional masterpiece, but it's fun.
Also it helps that the dude only has like 4 other choices for wife and all of those supports are ass (except for Maribelle, that one was alright iirc).

Of course, this is assuming you actually finished his support line with FRobin before she gets CHROM'd.
