Either I'm reading this wrong, or the spawn mechanics overall are not immediately intuitive, or I'm just repeatedly hitting a bug, or the mod dev has completely lost the fucking plot. I'm exploring caves barely below the surface, but I keep getting gangraped by these fat rusty fucks. I don't even have armor yet. The slowly-growing surface bells were goofy enough, but at least I can just walk around them.
