6 minutes is not enough time to present compelling characters. I do not sympathize with any of them because all their struggles are basic 1st world fund baby whining:

>"Waaah, I got misgendered and called cringe by some kids!"
>"Waaah, my sister is not a loser dropout like me!"
>"Waaah, I can afford to attend art school but my life is horrible because my homework got ruined, even though it was perfectly preventable by just carrying an umbrella!"

A fucking tragedy.

Why would I, or anybody else, be compelled to follow these characters or their story? Just because of the art style? I'm supposed to be sold on their emotional struggles or think that these characters live in a hellish, broken world or some shit? Maybe if the pilot was 11 minutes long, it would have had time to show the characters as something more than shallow and whiny Americunt zoomers. For what it is, it just seems like a very immature story, imo.
