and, to make it really clear what my point is:
any punishment or negative effects of not having digital ID are far outweighed by the negative outcomes of having digital ID, which will be tied to everything in your life, combined with facial recognition, which is everywhere now.
You will be glad you never got it when they scrap it in a few years and there is a sub-class of people who are perama-fucked from the data breach(es)
