Yuyu has the advantage of being Arts, while Wandjina is Quick. Also, Yuyu can do supereffective damage with one burn that she can apply with any normal attack using CCs (her other source of damage are her defense down debuffs). Wandjina's needs a lot of Spirit's Anger buffs to take advantage of her kit, and they require to have human attribute party members to exploit, but neither she nor the best Quick supports have that attribute.

Debuff-immune enemies are rare and Yuyu can land burns with any of her cards thanks to CCs.
