NTA, but it's a mod that retreads a lot of old ground with the premise of "what if Renee replaces Ashley". Some changes are made, and it's good quality in terms of art and writing, but the premise itself is too samey to be really interesting. It invents new scenarios and characters but still sticks to the same plot points as the base game, showing there is potential for a new and interesting story to be told, but it cannot escape the derivative nature of being a fetish mod. It shows that there is potential for a mod with new characters set in the Coffin universe that could explore new ideas while sticking to the setting, like something involving the occult, demons, and some exploration of the sleazy dystopia Nemlei created. We get very few glimpses into the world of TCOAL, but the ones we do get are funny and sometimes bleak. It's a very minimalist approach towards worldbuilding that works perfectly.
There's another mod in development which puts Andrew in Noelle's snow sprite village, which is a cool concept. Just rewriting Nemlei's own story, but with a few characters swapped around, is not. It's disrespectful to the author and boring. A mod can never hope to reach the same level of quality as Nemlei's unique style and should be something to keep fans busy and happy. A creative outlet is good for fans, so it's weird that the biggest and most successful mod so far is the least creative.
