My current boss is really getting on me for helping people outside of my department. Literally doing extra work for the company we both work for.
Her argument is that it takes away from work for my job. I fail to see what I am failing to do in the ten minutes that would've been spent sitting down.
She always talks like "I'm paying you to" when she's my manager, not the ceo. It feels like a pointless power trip.
The only reason to keep working here is the possiblity of the job I actually wanted. Hopefully, I hear back this weekend.
