Proof the J-10 has RAM coatings? I also don't see the canopy treated with a Radar absorbing coating, either. Funny. The F-16 has RAM, and also the much more important radar absorbing/blocking canopy coating. They got these under the HAVE GLASS programs. HAVE GLASS I was the canopy coating to block radar from entering the cockpit and reflecting off the pilot's helmet, ejection seat, etc that are giant EM source reflectors. HAVE GLASS II was adding RAM foam behind the radar structure, lining the intake tract, and painting F-22 derived RAM inside the intake and on 60% of the plane's forward facing surfaces. That RAM gave the F-16 a light to medium gray metallic sheen like the F-22, but didn't maintain too well. That's when they started painting them with RAM derived from the F-35 under the HAVE GLASS V (5th gen) program, giving the F-16 a dark gray almost semi-gloss finish.

Why does the F-16 need a DSI intake? Though, LM did design and install one on the F-16 to help with designing the F-35's DSI. The J-10 doesn't even have a true DSI, as it has boundary layer bleed holes inside the intake you pull the boundary layer away. Which, if designed right like the F-35's DSI, they wouldn't need, the compression hump/bump would do that for them. Same with the J-20, it has a boundary layer bleed system on its shitty designed DSI intake, too. Because chinsects can't into actual DSI.
