I bought a camera because I hate my phone, and I’m pretty sure all my gear combined still cost less than a modern smartphone.
Even a single one of these lights was a huge improvement for me. I like them because, unlike the usual studio setup, you can go fully wireless with them, and you don’t need those giant softboxes or umbrellas either. I got them for $35 each, which isn’t too bad.
