I can't understand the lolbertarians and neolibs who would see nature die out. We are part of the natural world not apart from it. We can't transcend it. Wanting to transcend it is akin to transhumanist delusions wishing to transcend from being human.
We should conserve nature. We should protect it. Rapacious development is destroying our home. They think it's "progress". Progress towards what? A delhi slum? A chinese hive? Humans need open space. We need a connection to nature. What they want is deracinated individuals, living in hives, controlled, and the world paved over into a dystopian hell.
