On the topic of card frames, Duel Masters has this one set (DMEX-18) where some of the cards have this new alternate frame that's meant to look "futuristic". They're basically the equivalent of futureshifted cards from Future Sight (MTG).
The particular details of the graphic design I could take or leave (fonts and shapes), but I think the fact that the text box is to the side of the card and the card art is in a very vertical aspect ratio is pretty cool.
Does anyone know if any other card games do vertical card art that's similar?
