Well, the pacing was a bit choppy compared to what I'd have preferred, but no way around that I suppose. Overall the performances and animation are pretty solid, but the composition and editing could be a little better. Yuu's relationship with his mom has an appropriate amount of gravity. And I liked many of the little touches they added, too.
