I really like the “Time Flies” episode, how a rigidly held perspective on life and one bad day, slipping from one’s own ethos, can cause someone to just snap!

The “aren’t born this way, they’re made” is an idea that’s been mishandled, overused, and abused too often of late, but this show really tackles it well. It did it right. Current times it’s all political pandering, perfunctory and disingenuous, the skin-mask of true empathy, but BTAS gave it an honest, truly empathetic consideration. It has something to say, and I want movies and television to reach for that again. To look on these subjects with gentle eyes like this show did.
