I am good. New players dabbling with PvP aren't going to be hyper-optimized pros, so they're not going to have superb builds on their first playthrough. Having to fight only one other player helps both invader and host learn about PvP in a far better way than always encountering or having a gank, especially since most hosts in Elden Ring have two summons. These builds faring better against hosts will keep people interested in trying to be invaders, and it can lead to more experimentation and enjoyable, themed builds akin to people being Silver Knights in Anor Londo. Solo invasions also give blues a better reason to exist since a host will actually have vacant slots in their world rather than summons already filling them.

By forcing every invader to face a gank, that can readily push people to rapidly finding a meta build that can result in every encounter being all too similar. Furthermore, any host who tries the Taunter's Tongue is likely to just get meta builds meant to fight three people at once + any blues, meaning that they'll have to rapidly seek a meta if they want to try a 1 vs. 1 fight at all. It ultimately resorts in a swift homogenization process and disincentivization to even try the mechanic while also fucking blues over out of getting to do anything at all.

The map and legacy dungeons have far, far better designs and variety than the coliseums, so PvP should never be forced to the coliseums to avoid ganks. Demon's Souls, Dark Souls 1, and even Dark Souls 2 proved time and time again that the levels are the most enjoyable places to face another human.
