It's true, though. Spielberg is a phenomenal director and he made a great movie with Jaws (fantastic for its release date), but it's still reminiscent of "E.T." and "Close Encounters" when it comes to its practical effect.
I have to agree with the other Anon; "Jaws" is a fairly boring movie, really.
