Private schools and Christian schools are more successful because anyone willing to pay good money to put their kid in school are more likely to care about their kids academic success and more likely to discipline them if their grades fall, or praise them if their grades rise.
Public schools can have high acheivers also if the parents care about their children.
The problem with public schools and inner city schools is that trash parents and single moms dgaf about what happens to their kid and expects the school to make them learn.
Parents regularly send ESL to private schools, and the students struggle, but they perform way better than a public school that doesn't have bilingual classes.
Autists also regularly go to private schools because they're much more accommodating and the school really needs the enrollment money in order to function.

I'd have 6th graders doing 100 pushups in the hall if they were being a distraction, and the parents were all about it. It was easier to maintain order in the class and make sure everyone was attempting the work instead of zoning out and throwing little shit at their friend across the room.
