I disagree. If there is one thing Trump hates is engaging in stuff and nothing happens, because his base is going to react cynically.

So something needs to come from the meeting such as:
- agreement to sign a cease fire at frozen current frontlines
- agreement to a 3 leader meeting quickly, Zelensky, Putin, Trump
- roadmap for next weeks

Putin has every incentive to agree to all these, as he would not give anything up and avoid secondary sanctions.
