5th one today, stopping here. Good pace. 1/1024 isn't shabby at all. I did speed up the emulator; after Blitzle I went for about 4000 encounters without seeing a thing. So that's Treecko, Blitzle, Surskit, Bidoof (which was statistically likely to happen since I have several wants on R102 and that's the most common mon), and Gothita.

I've never played a fakemon game before, but those look really good. I like those lizards on the right, 3rd from the top. Those look great. I'll add Vega to my list of things to try this year.

To be honest, I don't think I'm invested enough in shiny hunting to learn how to manipulate the game data to have reflex-specific odds. I watched about 20 minutes of >>58074715's video, skimming through most of it so just the beginning and end, and some commenter-highlighted bits, and that's just ridiculous.
He did save himself about a lifetime's worth of luck through manipulation, but his entire hunt took over a year. That method doesn't really seem fun to me, but if you are looking for a very specific Pokemon, with certain ribbons or met locations, or with a particular trainer ID, then I guess I can understand it if you're doing that for just 1 mon, or maybe even for a team of your absolute favorites.
I guess I like the idea of "chance" encounters over controlled variables, but to each his own.
