I just don't understand the point of commissioning artists these days. If people want art it's free. Something that used to be gatekept is now widely available for even some of the toastiest toasters, depending on how long you want to wait for something to gen.

I built for both futureproofing and speed, so I run a 4090 with 96 gb of ram. The ram was only for LLMs and because I knew it'd end up getting scalped later on (which the prices of ram have effectively doubled over the last year). But even something mid range can run stable diffusion. Reforge was a reshoot of a reshoot of the original and thus has been optimized for casual computers. If you can run a game like Witcher 3 on mid graphics you can gen reasonably fast.
